The decodable readers have been written to provide children with practise in working out words in connected text using their phonic knowledge.

The set of sixty readers contains nine levels, with between five to ten titles in each level.

These little books have risen admirably to the challenge of creating entertaining reading experiences for young children, while using a necessarily restricted vocabulary.
